The Leadership for Health and Social Care consists of both practical work experience and guiding teaching by an Assessor, who would come to observe your activities in your workplace. You would normally be required to give 30-35 hours a week to your training depending on your employer.

For you to achieve the diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, you will need to demonstrate both your practical administrative skills and functional/technical skills. Your Administrative skills will be assessed by your Assessor through workplace observation.

This qualification is for individuals looking to pursue a career in the health and social care industry. This is an ideal course if you are looking for care roles in residential settings, as well as domiciliary services and day services.

This brand new RQF qualification replaces the old Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.

For you to achieve the Diploma in Adult Care, you will need to practically demonstrate your skills,. Your assessor will access your practical skills through workplace observation.

Entry qualifications

Applicants will be assessed and interviewed to demonstrate that they are able to cover the range required by the relevant RQF at work. In addition, the apprentices are expected to carry out initial assessments in English and Maths where they would be expected to ideally achieve a level 1 in both the subject areas. If you do have GCSE then they don’t have to do functional skills as a part of the apprenticeship.
